Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement and evolution of our digital analytics capabilities by examining the unique needs of our business to develop relevant documentation to inform decisions.
  • Develop a variety of fact-based reports that aid management in making decisions related to the creation or expansion of new or existing digital content.
  • Responsible for analyzing data and quality control of reporting and analysis for our digital portfolio.
  • Develop creative approaches and methodologies to answer critical business questions, evaluate new digital opportunities, and assess market potential.
  • Improve quality and efficiency of reporting by creating dashboards that key stakeholders utilize to make informed business decisions and automated processes to consolidate data and assist in implementations of tag management and web analytics software.
  • Provide actionable and insightful recommendations from data mining, segmentation, customer profiling, and quantitative analyses with the goals of identifying acquisition, cross-sell, up-sell, and retention opportunities from digital channels.
  • Work closely with business partners to integrate and operationalize approved recommendations into business strategies, plans, and tactics to support increased return on investment through improved channel-specific performance.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing and Content Management teams to create an appropriate measurement strategy for digital content updates and campaigns.
  • Train business partners in the use of analytics capabilities, preparing reports, and properly utilizing report data.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the Mindlance brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of marketing, product management, financial, analytics, and/or data management experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years of marketing, product management, financial, analytics, and/or data management experience.
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Experience compiling and interpreting technical information.
  • Experience presenting to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree.
  • Knowledge of pertinent statistical tools and techniques, such as linear regression, time series analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, etc. used for modeling, segmentation, and data analysis.
  • Previous financial services industry experience.
  • Experience with pertinent web analytics and tag software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
