Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at Prospect Medical Holdings. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individualized assessments to determine patient treatment plans and goals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to restore and improve patient function and independence.
  • Lead and engage patients in structured therapeutic groups to promote socialization and skill-building.
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment options and progress.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and outcomes tracking for each patient.
Requirements
  • Current Certification as a Recreation Therapist (National, CTRS or State, RTC) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Art, Music, Dance Movement, Psychology, Sociology, Kinesiology, or Education.
  • 1 year of paid clinical experience in a psychiatric and/or acute care hospital or community setting.
  • AHA Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Recreational/Rehabilitation Therapist in an acute care hospital or community setting.
  • Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families.
