Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations using various modalities, including transthoracic echo, congenital, pediatric, and neonatal.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in imaging.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Diagnostic Sonographer (RDCS or RCS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a pediatric or neonatal setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
