About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Risk Manager to join our team at Paul Hastings. As a key member of our information management team, you will be responsible for managing data protection strategies and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data throughout the enterprise.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of information governance concepts and technologies, as well as experience in implementing data protection controls to satisfy data confidentiality, integrity, and availability objectives. You will work closely with subject matter experts from Information Security, Information Technology, and other stakeholder business partners to provide strategic and implementation planning to meet information security objectives.

In this capacity, you will oversee the client consent/notification process and ensure compliance with client guidelines related to the use of data across various form systems, including cloud platforms, external data processors, and cross-border data transfers. You will also coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure continuous compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations concerning cloud security and data governance, such as GDPR, CCPA, and others applicable to our operations.

You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including Office of the General Counsel, Information Security Engineering and Operations, IT engineering, application development, and business units, to establish and enforce cloud and data governance policies within Firm technology.

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000-$160,000 annually, depending on experience.
