Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care by taking vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor.
- Contribute to the assessment/re-assessment of patients and participate in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions.
- Monitor and document patient status, and report changes in patient status to the physician and initiate any new orders from the physician as directed.
- Perform Venipuncture, EKG, Waived Testing, Bone Density, X Ray, and other procedures as assigned by the physician, manager or clinical supervisor.
- Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and follow standard precautions to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification/Registration; OR 6 months of Clinic MA experience; OR the ability to successfully complete the INTEGRIS Health Caregiver Placement Program (CPP).
- 6 months customer service experience preferred.
- CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).
