Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 annually

Work Schedule: Flexible hours available

Position Overview:

As an Accountant within our manufacturing environment, you will be pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards. Your key responsibilities will include managing financial documentation, conducting data analysis, and supporting the finance team with critical insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Aid in the development and upkeep of financial documents, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Cost Analysis: Evaluate manufacturing expenses and discrepancies, offering recommendations for cost reduction, operational efficiencies, and budgeting strategies.
  • Inventory Oversight: Supervise inventory accounting and track inventory levels effectively.
  • Month-End Closing: Carry out month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and assist in external audits by supplying necessary documentation and clarifications.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships, manage accounts payable processes, and guarantee timely and precise payment transactions.
  • Customer Accounts: Handle customer relations, supervise accounts receivable processes, and ensure prompt and accurate payment collections.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret intricate financial information.
