Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Description:
Join the Hyster-Yale Group team as a Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift and take your career to the next level. As a key member of our Parts Distribution Center (PDC) team, you will be responsible for performing various warehouse functions, including parts put-away, parts picking, order picking, packaging, and shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pull various aftermarket parts for sales orders
* Locate and/or put away parts
* Verify part numbers and quantities of incoming, in-process, and outbound parts
* Prepare parts (orders) for shipment to customers
* Receive incoming materials and parts
* Read and follow packaging codes
* Notify inspection of nonconforming parts
* Preserve, package, and properly identify various aftermarket parts, kits, and/or assemblies
* Load outbound transportation
* Follow documented procedures
* Ensure order accuracy
* Change battery/propane tank on forklifts
Minimum Qualifications & Essential Skills:
* High School diploma/GED preferred
* Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
* Ability to learn to operate various pieces of equipment (including Fork Lift and an Order Picker)
* Ability to work at heights (up to 24 feet) while wearing fall protection equipment
* Ability to work under a performance expectation program that measures productivity based on time taken to complete job duties vs. time assigned
* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
* Strong customer service orientation
* Detail and accuracy oriented
* Ability to use a computer and hand-held scanning equipment used in warehouse processes

What We Offer:
* Competitive pay rates starting at $19.50/hour ($19.50/hour + $0.50/hour 2nd Shift Premium)
* Automatic pay raises after 120 days of probation and every 3 months until reaching the top of scale at $22.65/hour ($22.65/hour + $0.50/hour 2nd Shift Premium)
* No mandatory overtime requirements, but overtime opportunities available
* On-site health care clinic with no-cost generic prescriptions for enrolled employees
