About the Role:

Festival Foods is seeking a skilled Frozen Food/Dairy Clerk to join our team. As a Frozen Food/Dairy Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring that all company policies and procedures are being followed and that department goals are being obtained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests
  • Assist guests with supplying them with the items they need from the department
  • Aid guests in finding items they are looking for on the sales floor
  • Take orders and special requests
  • Answer the telephone and assist guests using proper phone etiquette
  • Stocking and maintaining product levels
  • Filling all items on display
  • Maintaining the sales floor cleanliness and tidiness
  • Maintaining grocery supplies
  • Ensuring all quality standards are being met

Requirements:

  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies
  • Ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards on store premises
