Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wound Care Clinician to join our team at Piedmont Columbus Midtown. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for the assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients with acute and chronic wounds, ostomy management, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with wounds, ostomies, and other skin-related issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote wound healing and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound care and ostomy management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in wound care and ostomy management.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy.
  • Two years of clinical experience in wound care and ostomy management.
  • BLS certification through AHA and current licensure in the State of Georgia as a Physical Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) or Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) preferred.
