Key Responsibilities
In the healthcare sector, effective support is essential for success. This position will assist our healthcare teams by:
- Encouraging patients to express their individuality and explore new behaviors in a supportive environment.
- Helping patients recognize and take responsibility for their psychological and behavioral patterns through constructive feedback and reinforcement.
- Participating in patient admission processes and orienting patients and their families to the unit and program.
- Performing essential tasks such as patient safety rounds, admissions, vital signs monitoring, specimen collection, and assisting with daily living activities.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A High School Diploma with a preference for at least one year of relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field or completion of a Psychiatric Assistant or Nurse Aide training program, along with one year of experience in Behavioral Health.
- Certification as a Mental Health Technician is preferred.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $21.83 per hour.
