About the Role

The Radiology Operations Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support to our patients, staff, and physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical, technical, and clinical operations support to meet the needs of our customers and departmental operations.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort while in the radiology department.
  • Explain procedures and post-procedure orders to patients to gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.
  • Prioritize workflow based on patient condition and ensure timely arrival and departure.
  • Utilize data from patient satisfaction and practice performance results to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment.
Working Conditions

The Radiology Operations Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel and reaching. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills are required. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs. May be exposed to radiation.
