About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at Verbal Beginnings. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a critical role in implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs, and social skills for children with autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect and record data to monitor progress and update treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors to ensure high-quality care
  • Work independently and as part of a team to provide support to children and families

Requirements:

  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help children with autism achieve their goals
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred
  • 6+ months experience working with children preferred
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Location and Schedule:

This position is based in our ABA center. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Shifts are 7:30am-4:00pm and 8:30am - 5:00pm. Candidates must be available to work either shift.

Compensation:

Starting at $23.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
