We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Art History at Sonoma State University.

About the Position

This is a temporary faculty position, teaching a variety of courses in art history, including introductory and advanced courses. The successful candidate will have a strong background in art history and the ability to teach effectively to students at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Teach a range of courses in art history, including introductory and advanced courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with departmental goals and objectives
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decision-making
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in art history or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred. The successful candidate will have a strong background in art history and the ability to teach effectively to students at all levels.
