Controls Systems Designer

We are seeking a skilled Controls Systems Designer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing hardware and software solutions for HVAC control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement hardware and software solutions for HVAC control systems
  • Provide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, and installation teams
  • Respond to basic warranty calls and troubleshoot problems with subcontractors and other trades
  • Assist in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers
  • Prepare proper documentation and/or manuals for system operation

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and advanced computer skills
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or 5 + years in the HVAC field
