Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver Direct Support Professional, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and behavioral support.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to help participants achieve their goals and live independently.
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Provide transportation and accompaniment to appointments and activities as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for some positions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
