Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver Direct Support Professional, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and behavioral support.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to help participants achieve their goals and live independently.
  • Work collaboratively with participants, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide transportation and accompaniment to appointments and activities as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for some positions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
