Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Georgia Mountain Young. This role will involve delivering exceptional service to our members and guests, promoting memberships and programs, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our lobby area.

About the Job

  • This is a full-time position that requires excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
  • You will also interview and/or tour prospective members, sell memberships, build relationships with members, and handle and resolve membership concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
  2. Sell memberships and promote programs.
  3. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area.
  4. Resolve membership concerns and inform supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
  5. Apply all YMCA policies dealing with member services.

Requirements

  • Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED, and First Aid.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Previous customer service, sales, or related experience.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
