Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Production Engineer who will be instrumental in driving improvements and upgrades within the manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge products designed for space exploration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and disseminate comprehensive work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Enhance and refine manufacturing processes for both new and existing product lines.
  • Engage in projects aimed at modernizing equipment and systems within the facility.
  • Address and resolve production challenges as they arise.
  • Contribute significantly to the quoting process for customer parts.
  • Participate actively in engineering design evaluations.
Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in LEAN methodologies with a proven track record of implementation.
  • Experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis to rectify part and process defects.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Syteline, is advantageous.
  • Strong background in production support and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of process validation techniques (PFMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ) is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Three weeks of paid time off (PTO).
