Position Overview:
The primary focus of this role is to demonstrate the feasibility of processes while ensuring adherence to quality standards on projects related to Lightspeed ADL. You will collaborate within a small team to facilitate the transition of these projects into production through the PReP process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, strategize, and execute Lightspeed ADL projects.
- Conduct intricate setups and process development on laser workstations.
- Deliver technical training to laser operators.
- Guide Application Development Technicians and Associate Application Development Engineers throughout projects.
- Oversee the successful transition of Lightspeed ADL projects into production.
- Assist the Site Director in addressing ongoing production challenges.
- Support the Sales team by completing project quotes.
- Create and update setup sheets, work instructions, and CAPAs as necessary.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and collaborate across various departments.
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and support other technical personnel to achieve optimized solutions.
- Engage in sales support activities, including presentations, customer interactions, and technical seminars.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/science or equivalent experience.
- Capability to generate machine motion control programs (e.g., G-Code).
- Understanding of ISO Quality Systems, particularly in the context of medical device manufacturing.
- Ability to create and troubleshoot programs for inspection devices and auxiliary equipment.
- Proficient in generating drawings and models (2D & 3D CAD) utilizing GD&T.
- Skilled in presenting and articulating complex engineering concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings using a GD&T system.
- Competence in creating job-related documentation for quality assurance.
- Experienced with optical inspection equipment, including magnifiers and microscopes.
- Proficient in operating multiple-axis motion controllers.
- Ability to adapt swiftly and positively to changing priorities and processes.
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $80,000-100,000
