Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for conducting CT scans as per physician directives, utilizing advanced imaging technology while considering the unique needs of each patient, including age-related factors. This role requires the application of expertise and critical thinking regarding imaging parameters, techniques, and patient care to ensure high-quality imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT examinations in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety during imaging procedures.
  • Utilize professional judgment to optimize imaging quality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Qualifications:

  • Education to fulfill certification, licensing, or registration requirements.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Oregon Medical Imaging License from the Oregon State Board upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist certification within one year of hire.
