Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the activities of ramp personnel during aircraft servicing and handling.
  • Develop and manage work schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels for all operational needs.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to attract and train new talent, fostering professional growth within the team.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients and management, working to prevent and resolve any operational delays.
  • Enforce compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure all ground support equipment maintenance tasks are completed during each shift.
  • Interpret and apply aircraft loading instructions and manage documentation for billing purposes.
  • Proactively identify and report potential business opportunities to management.
  • Assist with various ramp duties as needed, including safety inspections and baggage handling.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with team members and clients.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) regularly.
  • Capability to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
  • Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping may be required.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and around machinery noise.
