Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Renaissance Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing special meals, regulating oven temperatures, and maintaining food logs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
  • Maintain accurate food logs to track inventory and quality control.
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Communicate assistance needs during busy periods to ensure seamless service.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of related work experience in a culinary setting.
  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
