We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landing Gear Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining and repairing landing gear systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform media blasting on landing gear components.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and possess a solid mechanical understanding.
- Ensure equipment functionality by executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs as necessary.
- Lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs.
- Assemble and disassemble Nose and Main landing gear parts for various aircraft programs.
- Interpret technical drawings and models to finalize assembly of shock struts, actuators, and drag struts in accordance with established processes.
- Assess the fit, alignment, and condition of components to ensure quality standards.
- Conduct acceptance test procedures (ATP) on hydraulic components.
- Identify and propose process enhancements through Process Change Requests.
- Maintain traceability of components throughout the maintenance process.
- Comply with all company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as required based on operational needs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is essential.
- Experience in the aerospace sector is advantageous.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol testing is mandatory.
