Job Description

Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager/Senior Civil Project Manager to lead our Traffic Analysis team in Columbia, SC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee marketing and business development efforts, driving growth and revenue.
  • Lead technical quality, profitability, and project staff coordination, ensuring seamless communication with clients.
  • Negotiate scopes and fees, manage billing, and assist in collections when required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional registration (P.E., PTOE, etc.) in one or more states where Timmons Group operates.
  • 8-10 years of experience in roadway design, traffic, and transportation engineering, including projects for NCDOT and local governments in North Carolina.
  • Proven ability to manage project accounting, schedule, and budget.
  • Experience in marketing, supervision, and technical work management.
  • Working knowledge of technical and office support software, including MicroStation and traffic analysis software packages.
