Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Software Developer to join our Fleet Management team in Austin, TX.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on developing and optimizing a Fleet Management solution for Apptronik's humanoid robots, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Develop, and Deploy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions for Fleet Management of humanoid robots.
  • Client-Side Development: Develop client-side software on robots to enable real-time monitoring, tracking, and communication with the fleet management server.
  • Sensor Data Integration: Integrate sensor data and telemetry information to optimize fleet performance and operational efficiency.
  • API Development: Develop APIs and interfaces for seamless communication between Fleet Management software and robotic systems.

Requirements:

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
  • IoT Experience: Experience with developing IoT applications.
  • Cache Database Knowledge: Familiarity with client-side caching and caching databases (Redis).
  • Software Design Principles: Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.

Education and Experience:

  • Computer Science Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Software Development Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the field of robotics or Fleet Management systems.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
