We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to join our team at ULTRA-DEX. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and leading a team of production staff.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the production process, including setting up jobs, coordinating employee activities, and operating various types of equipment.
- Evaluate daily customer demands and prioritize jobs to meet those demands.
- Track the progress of each manufacturing order to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate machine maintenance and resolve machining or assembly problems.
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and training needed to succeed.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); VoTech Trade school graduate preferred.
- Completed Apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three years at Lead Machinist Level.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and machine drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present numerical data effectively and write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
