About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a DispatchHealth Medical Technician (DHMT) to deliver comprehensive care to patients in their homes.
  • Perform thorough health assessments, diagnose, and treat complex illnesses, and provide therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Identify and proactively solve problems, adhering to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics.
  • Provide care with compassion, empathy, and cultural competency, maintaining positive relationships with DHMT partners and remote teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in acute care settings, such as Emergency Departments, Urgent Care, or Internal Medicine.
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Nationally board certified, current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred.
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
