We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team at Home Buyers of Pittsburgh. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing our finances, providing financial reporting, and implementing systems to drive business growth.
Responsibilities- Manage the creation and delivery of financial reports, including Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Portfolio Cashflows.
- Ensure timely delivery of Property Management Reports.
- Collaborate with our Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to prepare budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Handle QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Appfolio Management tasks.
- Analyze, update, and present data to support decision-making processes.
- Oversee operational tasks, such as coordinating property maintenance and onboarding contractors.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, or a Master's Degree in Public Accounting.
- Proficiency in business systems, including Google Suite, Excel, and QuickBooks.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and follow-through on projects.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential.
- Alignment with our company's core values is necessary.
