Shift Details:
Second shift operates from Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Overtime opportunities are available during the week and occasionally on weekends. Initial training will take place on the first shift for a duration of 30 days before transitioning to the second shift.

Important Note:
Steel-toed shoes are required for this position.

Position Overview:
The role involves the precise and efficient assembly and testing of a range of moderately complex products to meet customer quality standards and delivery timelines. Responsibilities may include lockwiring, first-stage subassembly, and final detailing tasks. The position focuses on products that incorporate mechanical components, single hydraulic systems, and various part numbers. You will actively engage in lean initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and minimizing costs, under general supervisory guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute moderately complex assembly and testing functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, testing equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement tools in a manufacturing setting.
2. Document test results on data forms using moderately complex electrical equipment and flow measurement devices, which may include X-Y recorders, oscilloscopes, transducers, and other related instruments.
3. Identify malfunctions indicated by test data and perform rework as directed.
4. Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
5. Produce and inspect assemblies that adhere to product specifications, assembling, testing, and/or soldering to customer and industry standards.
6. Conduct touch-up or full surface painting of components using finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, and glaze, including mixing paint and cleaning parts.
7. Actively contribute to lean initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and providing suggestions.
8. Assist in training less experienced team members as needed.
9. Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free workspace.
10. Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.
11. Undertake other related responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

• A minimum of two years of industry-related experience in assembly and testing within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated product and process knowledge, applying it to newly acquired techniques.
• Ability to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications, as well as performing basic mathematical calculations. Effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills are also necessary.
• Strong mechanical reasoning skills.
• Capability to implement and effectively apply lean initiatives.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting reports and utilizing standard business software applications. Ability to access online information and use specialized automated systems.
• Soldering certification may be required based on customer specifications.
• Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and engage in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
