About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Danbury, CT area. This role supports the Service Manager and field technicians with site coordination, engineering tasks, submittals, purchasing, and equipment deliveries.

Responsibilities
  • Works cooperatively and constructively with our sales team and service group for systems project startups.
  • Develops and maintains strong technical and applications expertise with all represented products.
  • Leads systems projects to completion with planning, scheduling, and tracking of all aspects of the project.
  • Able to read and comprehend an engineering specification/drawing to create appropriate submittal documentation.
  • Prepares submittal packages and custom wiring & installation diagrams for customers.
  • Responsible for releasing equipment and ancillary part orders, as well as invoicing systems projects.
  • Participates in project planning and budgeting.
  • Manages service technicians' calendars and provides directions and documentation for project startup.
  • Provides direct project customer support and technical advice as needed.
  • Performs quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Coordinates with clients, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Creates and distributes project milestone deliverables to the appropriate parties.
Requirements
  • A four-year degree in a related field is preferred; 2-5 years of related experience will be considered.
  • Strong desire to learn and gain experience working in the building automation construction industry.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Windows, Excel, Visio, AutoCAD).
  • Meticulous with organization skills and multi-tasking to handle multiple project deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent communicator, with strong people skills among a wide array of trades and position levels.
