Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac and Heart Failure team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiac and heart failure conditions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including assessing and documenting patient conditions, and evaluating the effectiveness of care and interventions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, including teaching and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Minimum one year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting, with a focus on cardiac and heart failure care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
