Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Holy Cross Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating head or body X-ray scanners to create computer-generated cross-sectional images. This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of protocols for each exam and the ability to work efficiently and professionally with all contacts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT procedures accurately and proficiently with an understanding of protocols for each exam.
  • Knowledge in the proper use of the PACS and RIS systems in accordance with set protocols and the manufacturer recommendations.
  • Interact efficiently, professionally, and courteously with all contacts.
  • Draw up requested medication/contrast media and accurately record the administered amount and time as per the physician's orders.
  • Administer contrast media under the direction of a physician. Recognize signs of contrast reaction and respond with appropriate action.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technologist is required.
  • Experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations is required.
Licensure and Certifications:
  • Florida CRT Radiology license is required.
  • ARRT is required.
  • ARRT (CT) is required.
  • BLS certification is required.
