Job Summary:
Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient flow, supervising dental assistants and receptionists, and ensuring the efficient operation of our dental department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient scheduling to maintain an efficient and productive patient flow.
- Triage patients, coordinate dental appointments, and communicate effectively with dental patients.
- Supervise dental assistants and receptionists, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and proper sterilization methods.
- Manage dental insurance programs and procedure codes to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, including chart audits and patient surveys.
- Monitor provider production and maintain daily reports.
- Develop and maintain community relationships to support the growth and development of our dental clinic.
Requirements:
- Current DA registration from Washington State.
- Basic courses in dental assisting and office management.
- Minimum of three years working experience in a dental office.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
- Experience with EPIC desirable.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
