Job Description

As a member of the software engineering division at Oracle, you will play a key role in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging, or designing of software applications or operating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership to other software developers and assist in the entire software lifecycle – development, testing, CI/CD, and production operations.
  • Design and build distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant software systems to support data scientists and AI experts.
  • Participate in cloud service operational work, including region builds, writing runbooks, ops automation, instrumentation for metrics and events.
  • Leverage internal tooling at Oracle to develop, build, deploy, and troubleshoot software.
  • Take initiative and be responsible for delivering complex software by working effectively with the team and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience working on distributed systems and building highly available services.
  • At least 4+ years of professional work experience developing in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with RESTful API, microservices, Spring Framework, SQL, and NoSQL.
  • Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Experience building AI/ML infrastructure and services is preferable.
  • Software development experience working for a cloud provider is preferable.
