Job Summary:

The Software Engineer I will contribute to the development and implementation of custom software solutions for Ardent Mills. This role provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills within a collaborative team environment.

The successful candidate will work independently and with senior engineers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the software products.


Key Responsibilities:

Development Support:
Code, test, and debug software applications to meet project requirements

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to learn best practices and contribute to team objectives

Quality Assurance:
Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and security protocols

Learning and Development:
Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies to continually improve your skills and the development process

Project Assistance:
Track project milestones and timelines, providing support to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency with .NET framework and C# programming. Knowledge of Angular, including its core principles like components, services, and directives. Solid knowledge of SQL and database management. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with agile development practices and team collaboration tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with version control systems such as Git. Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Azure Active Directory. Proficiency in C# and its features like LINQ, async/await, and Entity Framework. Knowledge of cloud design patterns, microservices architecture, and containerization with tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Creating and managing RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core. Solid understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies.
