JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong enthusiasm for software testing and a commitment to collaborating with clients and peers across the application development team. Most importantly, you will need to demonstrate your ability to be a valued and considerate member of a project team responsible for delivering functional, high-quality software to production. Successful candidates will engage in multi-platform delivery to ensure exceptional quality for any application modifications. You will be responsible for preparing test strategies, developing test plans, and managing and coordinating all testing activities required for assigned projects. Additionally, you will compile and disseminate accurate and timely information to support decision-making, prioritization, and status assessment. Continuous analysis and interpretation of testing results will be essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Adopt a detailed, logical, and diligent approach to testing.
  • Maintain independence while managing diverse and conflicting pressures.
  • Review issues reported by the QA team before inclusion in the test report to ensure accurate details and comprehensive issue descriptions.
  • Document and adhere to established test plans.
  • Send test completion reports detailing product information, raised issues, testing scope, device coverage, etc., to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the QA team and collaborate closely with development and product teams.
  • Conduct cross-platform testing for Android and iOS.
  • Log and track bugs/issues raised during testing.
  • Communicate issues effectively to developers and product teams.
  • Work closely with product design and development teams to understand application requirements.
  • Liaise with external testing partners as necessary.
  • Manage and coordinate tickets in project management tools.
  • Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to other team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup, entertainment, or media environment.
  • Knowledge of API and automation testing is advantageous.
  • A recognized Agile qualification.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Understanding of current social and digital platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good understanding of the web, social media, and the talent and creator landscape.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and collaboration tools.
  • A commitment to excellence and a strong belief in diversity and collaboration.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to communicate effectively to give and receive information and instructions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to type or handle objects.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
