Job Summary:This position requires a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in PACU/Critical Care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the PACU/Critical Care unit, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
- Current NY RN license.
- 2+ years of experience in PACU/Critical Care.
- Previous travel experience.
- Supervisory references from recent travel assignments.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. The unit has 3 separate units with 8, 10, and 9 beds, respectively. The RN to patient ratio is per ASPAN guidelines, and the patient population is pediatric-geriatric. The EMR system used is Cerner.
