Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in the PACU. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar setting and hold a current New York license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal care outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patients' vital signs, identifying and addressing any concerns or complications.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
Requirements
  • Current New York license and AHA BLS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a PACU or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
