About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Caretenders, a part of LHC Group. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and performing technical skilled care in the patient's home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing the practice of nursing, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Complete progress notes for each visit and submit them to the agency daily.
  • Continuously observe and report patients' nursing needs, instruct patients' families in care, and maintain a healthy environment for patients.
  • Observe, record, and report patients' responses to treatment and changes in patients' conditions to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
  • CPR Certification required.
