Job Summary:

The Pool Attendant is a vital support role within the Recreation Department at HYATT Hotels. Key responsibilities include ensuring a safe and clean pool and beach environment for our guests. This position requires excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide hotel information and assist with recreation rental equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and clean pool and beach environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests
  • Assist with recreation rental equipment
  • Work in high temperatures outdoors and maintain focus while supervising pool guests for safety
  • Perform general cleaning of the pool area and other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • CPR/Life Guard Certificate
  • Superior swimming skills to provide rescue in pools
  • Friendly attitude and willingness to exceed guest expectations
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying hot/cold weather climates
  • Available to work flexible schedules including afternoon, weekends, and holidays
  • Good physical stamina to stand and walk long distances throughout shift
  • Good physical strength to lift, push, and pull moderate weight
