About the Job

As a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) at IntelyCare, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to residents in post-acute facilities. You will be responsible for providing nursing care, following resident care plans, and communicating with medical staff and residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to residents, including vital sign measurements and reporting to supervisors as necessary
  • Observe residents' conditions during shifts and report any concerns to the nursing team
  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, keep residents' rooms clean, and change linens
  • Communicate with visitors and serve as a conduit between medical staff and residents
  • Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed

Requirements

  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Effective organizational skills and communication skills
  • Appropriate bedside manner
