Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Tester to join our team at Steripax Inc. As a Quality Control Tester, you will be responsible for conducting testing and inspection activities in accordance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test production and validation samples in accordance with test requirements, including tensile peel testing, visual inspection, burst testing, dimensional testing, and color verification testing and evaluation.
- Record test results in written or electronic forms as directed.
- Conduct and support manufacturing and validation production processes to create sample units at the direction of the Validation Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance management.
Requirements:
- Minimum two months of related experience, education, and/or training is desired, but not required.
- Basic understanding of the SteriPax Line Operator duties is desired, but not required.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- A basic understanding and ability to use a ruler, tape measure, and/or caliper is desired, but not required.
- Certificates, licenses, and registrations preferred, but not required.
- Experience with laboratory and/or cleanroom environment, equipment, and safety procedures is desired, but not required.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of quality control concepts and manufacturing processes is desired, but not required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually very loud (the production floor is considered a sustained loud manufacturing environment that requires hearing protection).
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds / may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds or more.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including gowning, hair nets, beard covers, eye protection, hearing protection, and any other necessary PPE.
Each candidate for this position must have a clean and neat appearance, observe good personal hygiene, and conform to the dress code in keeping with SteriPax's clean manufacturing environment.
