RN Behavioral Health Adult 2 Position

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in the inpatient setting at Penn State Health. The RN will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
- Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Requirements:
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- BLS required prior to orientation completion.
- Act 31 training completion required within 45 days of hire.
