The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct support to clients in developing and practicing essential skills. This role involves working closely with clients in various settings, including their homes, communities, and schools, to ensure standardized treatment approaches.
The Behavioral Health Technician plays a crucial role in implementing interventions outlined in the Treatment Plan, allowing clients to practice these skills and ensuring caregivers can provide consistent support. Regular communication with lead clinicians is essential to determine treatment revisions, share intervention success, and collect data for team analysis.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and have the ability to work effectively with clients and their caregivers. A minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or a related field is required, along with a high school diploma and completion of a 40-hour training program covering the RBT Task List. Certification as a BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT is also highly desirable.
Ponessa Behavioral Health offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees, including medical and prescription drug coverage, dental and vision coverage, and paid time off. Additional benefits include clinical supervision for licensure, PTO cash out, and employee anniversary recognition.
