Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and implement treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient information, including medical history, vital signs, and treatment plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Physical Requirements:
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients.
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
