Position Summary:

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Electrophysiology Lab Educator/Preceptor to join our team on a project basis. This position presents a distinctive chance to mentor and train emerging EP lab professionals while utilizing your extensive knowledge. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of five years of specialized EP lab experience, familiarity with various EP systems, and the willingness to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate structured single-day and multi-day on-site training sessions for EP and Cath Labs across the country.
  • Conduct both theoretical and hands-on instructional sessions for small groups (typically no more than 8 participants).
  • Travel to various locations to deliver on-site training.
  • Occasionally attend administrative meetings.
  • Collaborate on curriculum development and class preparation.
  • Educate staff on a variety of EP systems, including Abbott, Carto, CardioLab, MicroPlace, and X-ray.
  • Share knowledge on diverse EP procedures, such as ablation, implanted devices, and left atrial appendage occlusion.
  • Implement and instruct on safety protocols and best practices within EP labs.
  • Tailor training programs to address the specific needs of different laboratories.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years of dedicated experience in an EP lab setting.

Proficiency in multiple EP systems, including Abbott, Carto, CardioLab, MicroPlace, and X-ray.

Willingness to travel for training sessions.

Experience in various EP labs is preferred.

Current employment in an EP lab role is required.

Comprehensive understanding of all types of EP procedures, including ablation, implanted devices, and left atrial appendage occlusion.

Strong grasp of safety protocols and best practices within EP labs.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Proficient with technology and computer systems.
