Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert speech language pathology services to patients in their homes, including assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans.
  • Work closely with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, and communicate with patients and their families to ensure that they are informed and engaged in their care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in speech language pathology or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a speech language pathologist in the state of practice.
  • Experience working with patients in home health care settings, preferably with BAYADA Home Health Care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
