Job Summary:
At Conway Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our team. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in the preparation and care of surgical patients under the general direction of a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain a sterile field, ensuring a safe and clean environment for surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room with appropriate instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
• Demonstrate expertise in sterile aseptic technique, combining knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a surgeon's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts in a safe and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues, physicians, and department heads to ensure effective and efficient surgical procedures.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program required.
• Previous experience as a Surgical Technician in a hospital setting preferred.
• Certification from an accredited Surg Tech educational program and certification by the National Board of Surg technology within 90 calendar days from graduation date, or equivalent experience and certification.

Requirements:
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, physicians, and department heads.
• Exemplary core customer service skills required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong PC skills required, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
