Job Summary

Mercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders, and chemical dependency. Our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy, and relapse prevention.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
  • Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Current LPN license within the hiring state.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Physical Requirements: Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance.
