Mechanical Engineer Manufacturing Technology Co-op

At Chemours, we're seeking a Mechanical Engineer Co-op to join our Louisville Works team. As a Mechanical Engineer Co-op, you'll work closely with our Louisville Technical team, gaining valuable experience through hands-on projects in a chemical plant. You'll have exposure to real-time engineering work alongside other engineers, applying what you've learned in the classroom.
Responsibilities include analyzing equipment performance, conducting failure analysis investigations, participating in process safety management activities, contributing to team meetings and conference calls, and more. To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to communicate effectively, have strong self-awareness, and be naturally inquisitive.
Requirements include enrollment at an accredited college or university as a sophomore or above, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field, and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom is also preferred.
