Position Summary

Rathje Woodward LLC is seeking a talented litigation associate to join its dynamic and long-established practice. This is an excellent opportunity for associates who are ready to assume a significant role in all aspects of a case in a tight-knit and team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive contact with clients, opposing counsel, third-party witnesses, and vendors, as well as government agencies. Duties will include performing legal research, drafting legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings, attending court hearings, handling discovery-related matters and investigations, preparing for, taking, and defending depositions, and other aspects of complex litigation matters.

Requirements
  • Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Illinois.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for experience in complex commercial and/or labor and employment matters.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
